Stunning and extremely rare; 3 option conversion for sleeveless, sleeves and stunning tulle bows.
As a bride I wanted to feel so beautiful and sadly store dresses just didn’t provide me that. I knew what I wanted over the day and born from that passion was this beautiful custom gown.
Wedding was August 12th, 2023, so I’m using mostly my final fitting images but will happily provide as many images and videos needed for a prospective buyer and bride to be.
Dress was immediately professionally cleaned and has a cardboard bodice inserted to maintain its shape and protect the lace and beading.
Description:
Fabric: Handsewn personally selected lace, intricate beading, combination of ivory and blush tulle with a satin train underlay.
This gown has the most perfect and delicate combination of ivory and blush tulle to get the perfect colour, we workshopped this for months; not too ivory not too pink.
The partially sheer bodice is hand selected lace pieces that are slightly asymmetrical. Bodice is dual layer tulle for bust and waist support but the illusion neckline is single layer only to give the perfect look. Bodice has simple boning and cups are sewn in but can be removed without damage. I am a DD bust.
Midsection, remains the same fabric combination with a more asymmetrical lace pattern again as this was a personal preference from store bought dresses I had seen.
The rear silhouette was inspired by a designer gown I seen, lifting and shaping the bottom with the most perfect pleating before tapering in.
The flair is hitting just above the knee to elongate the body. I am 162cm without shoes.
The train measures just over 2m and is a combination of satin and tulle delicately sewn together as I wanted the train to always flow beautifully even when walking without separating. Lace on the train is more minimalist and selectively placed to give an elegant look and not make the train look “heavy”.
Overall it was a labour of love. I have never felt more beautiful on the day and the transitional sleeves and bustle really gave me a whole new dress for the evening.
